Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Field Service Team Leader for our team, covering the North and Scotland.

Field Service Team Leader Role:

Joining our team, the Field Service Team Leader will lead a small team providing unplanned technical support and troubleshooting to the Powergen assets and operational teams/Asset Analysts. You will schedule and support the Field Service Technicians and provide training and competency assessments to the Operations & Maintenance teams to ensure that best practice is achieved. Duties include:

- Responsible for the on-call rota of the Field Service Team
- Provide reactive fault-finding and troubleshooting skills to the Powergen assets.
- Maintain and maximise operational efficiency of all Powergen assets.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with best practice, safely, economically and meeting environmental obligations.
- Support and assist with the development of planned preventative maintenance plans (PPM's).
- Work closely with the Major Maintenance Team to ensure CBM is carried out in an effective manner
- Work closely with the Optimisation Engineers to drive improvements in the region
- Provide remote and direct (at the CCR) technical support to the Asset Analysts.
- Ensure all reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is effectively and accurately completed after each task.
- Carry out competency assessments across the Powergen teams where directed

Our ideal Field Service Team Leader will have:

- Practical experience of maintaining & testing Low Voltage systems.
- General engineering and operations experience in a heavy engineering environment
- Planned preventative maintenance of large reciprocating Powergen assets.
- Practical experience of engine, plant process maintenance and diagnostics.
- Electrical and electronic experience in low voltage system
- City & Guilds (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering
- Well organised and Logical Thinker
- Full Driving Licence
