Internal Sales Team Leader

We currently seek to recruit at Grimsby Distribution & Engineering service centre.

The Team Leader role is key within Distribution and Engineering with prime responsibility to effectively manage assigned tasks in order to contribute to the achievement of agreed customer service level commitments.

Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Team Leader:

* Deputise for the Service Centre Manager in their absence.
* Managing customer stock orders, inventory control and preventative maintenance systems to deliver consistently high levels of customer service at all times.
* Ensure all sales within the Service Centre comply with % margin expectations that are both Product Group and Market-Place appropriate.
* Liaising with customer contacts to ensure service delivery.
* Identifying and sourcing of maintenance requirements.
* Negotiating with suppliers of third party products and services.
* Team Leaders are responsible for their own, their staff and visitors health and safety within their operation, for the promotion of health and safety in line with ERIKS and their Customer's Health & Safety Policies and procedures. Managers are responsible for reporting all cases of non-conformance.
* Team leaders shall make themselves aware of and ensure compliance with all of the company's applicable management systems policies and procedures.
* Ensure high level of Customer Service from Branch and Employees.

Requirements of the Internal Sales Team Leader:

* Minimum of 1 years work experience in a commercial, distribution or industrial environment.
* Proficient user of windows based programmes.
* Experience of fully integrated system based sales order processing and stock management systems.
* Motivating, coaching and mentoring of team members.
* Understanding of, and ability to effectively action Health and Safety principles and procedures
* Ability to manage the branch administrative workflow, setting individual tasks and ensuring team members have the necessary skills/training to achieve the required output.
* Good knowledge of some or all categories of Maintenance, Repair and Operational product and service range.
* Effectively manage time in order to maximise opportunities and minimise costs
* Understand how ERIKS adds value to its customer and articulate this to assigned customers
* Ability to resolve conflict with mutually beneficial outcomes for ERIKS and its customers
* Knowledge of Stock Management principles and systems.
* Ability to prepare and deliver management information within required deadlines.
* Negotiation skills at multiple levels within customer and supplier organisations.
* Communication and inter-personal skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
* Grade A* - C GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics
