A residential school in Lymington are looking for permanent Support Workers to start ASAP.

About the school:

* Cater for primary and secondary pupils on the Autistic Spectrum
* Care home are on school site
* Very supportive staff team and opportunities for progression within the school and the company
* Beautiful site with a large amount of land and facilities
* In-depth training in a variety of SEN courses

The role means you would be supporting them in life skills such as cooking, with their emotional development and also with activities in the evening. It would be working with the pupils in the residential homes and would be 40 hours a week, term time only so you will not have to work the school holidays.

As the work is residential the Support Workers will be required to work shifts which would vary, you would need to be flexible and this would include working some weekends. The shift patterns are:

Early shifts 7.30 – 3pm

Late shifts 2.30 – 10pm

The ideal candidate would have experience working with Special Educational Needs previously, especially Autism, however they would consider candidates without this experience as long as they had the attitude, passion and initiative.
