Science Graduate

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a large mixed secondary school in Wigan to appoint a Science Graduate on a full-time basis.

The school aim to appoint someone who is able to start in February in order to provide support to the schools Science department and assist with the academic development of students on the lead up their GCSE exams.

* Science Graduate – Full-time role
* Required to start at the earliest convenience
* Competitive pay rates with expected earnings of up to �300 per week
* Support provided for aspiring teachers

If you are a Graduate of Science with aspirations to teach and will strengthen any teacher training application. You will require some previous experience working with children but not necessarily within a classroom environment and be willing to learn under the guidance of experience and successful teachers.

As Graduate Teaching Assistants working within our client school you will play a key role within the Science department, roles may include;

* Ensuring that lessons operate smoothly
* Assisting with the set up of practical lessons
* Providing tuition/intervention where required to help raise the attainment of students
* Provide classroom cover with support from the main class teacher

Our client Secondary school is smaller than average and currently has approximately 700 students on roll. Located in the centre of Wigan, the school has an abundance of public transport links from the surrounding areas. If commuting by car then the school has onsite car parking and is just minutes away from the A58.
