My client at a prestigious private school in Bath is seeking an experience Catering Assistant Manager to support during term-time and out of term-time. This role is aimed at a candidate who has experience as an Assistant Manager in hotels/conference or banquet catering.

What will be required?

- To be able to keep control of costs and wages to ensure that the department remains in budget. Be able to think outside of the box and has a creative flare and flare for writing (as blog management will form part of the role)

- Experience as an assistant manager in a comparable role is essential.

- Proficient computer skills and numeracy skills are also essential.

The role includes a generous 5.6 weeks paid holiday allowance.

You will be working an average 40-hour week with straight shifts typically 07:00 to 15:00 or 11:30 to 20:00 each with a half hour lunch break although some of our functions do take us outside these normal working hours so we do need you to flexible to support the team.

The client works independent school term-times plus 4 weeks during the holiday periods to cover our commercial residential lets. The role will involve working primarily Tuesday to Saturday during term-time and largely Monday to Friday the rest of the year; so that’s about 25 Saturdays p.a.
