Our client is looking for someone who is sales and target driven to earn as much as they can due to continuous and successful growth of the business.

About the Business Development Manager role:

It's an exciting and varied Business Development opportunity selling recruitment solutions into the IT Sector. You will be responsible for identifying new business prospects / sales leads, pitching to new prospective clients and maintain a good working relationship with active contacts. You will be responsible for building your own client base, developing client relationships and understanding their IT team dynamics. One should be exited for an opportunity to sell tailor-made solutions.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

* Should work independently to bring in new IT clients (direct clients) to fulfil their staffing needs.
* You will use your own initiative, databases and strategies to capture and convert the client from different sources or channels.
* Prospect for potential new clients and convert into business.
* Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
* Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
* Set up meetings between client decision makers to further develop relationships and win new business.
* To work with a consultative sales approach to establish strategic relationships.
* Maintain a high level of industry & competitor knowledge in order to effectively lead proposals into Senior Managers and Decision Makers. You'll have plenty of support from the team also!
* To work with technical staff, pre-sales and product specialists where required to address customer requirements.
* To spend more time out of the office with clients rather than sat at a desk emailing!
* Understand corporate politics and develop sales winning strategies.
* Establish respect, credibility and professional friendships with customers/prospects at all levels.
* To conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

* Experience of working within a technology consultancy based role, selling solutions/services is essential
* Ability to work independently and being proactive in identifying new business.
* Proven track record of sales pipeline and portfolio of working with large organisations.
* Proven Business Development Management experience of working with direct end clients
* Previous IT staffing industry experience
* Understanding of all IT verticals
* Should be aware of GDPR compliance
