We are a leading private healthcare organisation wishing to recruit a lead nurse to work within a
specialist diagnostic treatment centre in the heart of Preston.

Our purpose built impressive, state of the art theatre department, houses 2 day case theatres and
soon expanding to redevelop our theatres to create a GA suite. There are also day rooms/treatment
rooms on site to ensure a smooth patient journey.

The department covers an array of specialities and we are looking for a scrub with a minimum of 4
years’ experience with leadership experience and exposure to scrubbing for various cases, as well as
taking a clinical lead in outpatients.

You will have the exciting opportunity to work with leading surgeons and develop your career as a
scrub lead within theatres and the opportunity to take advantage of genuine professional

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and motivate junior staff – offering a rewarding and
open working environment. Our unit was awarded with an outstanding repost for patient care from
the CQC, so we are really looking for a lead nurse willing to go the extra mile to deliver fantastic
patient focused care.

Roles and Responsibilities

-  Scrub for a variety of cases including; plastics, general surgery, vascular, ophthalmics and orthopaedics amongst other areas.
-  Provide clinical leadership and managerial support to the theatre & OPD team
-  Assisting in maximum utilisation of our clinical accommodation.
-  Training junior staff/students – identifying training needs where required for staff

Skills and experience

-  NMC registered nurse
-  Scrub experience
-  Leadership skills/experience
