English Tutor – Oldham

Are you a recent English graduate looking to do some private tuition? Are you a qualified English teacher looking for some flexibility with your work?

Teaching Personnel require an English Tutor to work with a student attending one of our client secondary schools in the Oldham area. This is a role with an immediate start for the perfect candidate, and is due to continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential to carry on into September.

* English Tutor post with immediate start
* Supporting a student 1:1 with GCSE English Language and Literature (AQA Exam Board)
* Earn between 10 and 25 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications
* Flexibility with days and times for sessions

“We require a high quality English Tutor to support one of our students who has significant gaps in their knowledge of both the English Language and Literature AQA courses. We are flexible on where and when the tuition sessions can take place. We would like the tuition process to start as soon as possible with a view that it will continue up until the student takes their GCSE examinations next summer.” Head of English.

The student has been identified as underperforming, and so the school would like to provide intervention in the form of private tuition. English graduates who are wanting to work in education are encouraged to apply, as well as qualified English teachers who may be looking for flexible tuition work.
