COMPANY: Leading Manufacturer for Thermoplastic and composite tooling and light weight component solutions

Key skills & experience

You must have at least 5 years prior INJECTION MOULD TOOL MAKING EXPERIENCE and have tool stripping and rebuild experience to apply for this role.

Qualifications

Toolmaking Apprenticeship, NVQ /ONC/HNC equivalent or Vocational training (abrasive wheels/crane/ CNC machine training)

Vacancy Description

To produce High and Low volume production injection mould tooling.

KEY TASKS IN THIS ROLE:
• Assembling new injection mould tooling
• Fitting/turning/machining/polishing/spark erosion/grinding and bed out
• Repairing and modifying existing tooling - tool stripping and rebuild
• Working from 3D CAD models
• Work towards a target end date
• Working to quality assured standards
Skills needed:
• Toolmaking apprenticeship (preferably injection mould related)
• NVQ /ONC/HNC equivalent
• At least 5 years Experience post apprenticeship (injection mould related)
• Vocational training (abrasive wheels/crane/ CNC machine training desirable)
