WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week with on-call duties on an agreed rota basis 

Are you looking for an opportunity to put your professional values and principles into real action with service users at the heart of your thinking?

We are currently working with a charity who provide unique person centred support, based on a modern view of the charities movement. The service is for adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders.

You will be working in conjunction with the Care and Support Services Manager to ensure an outstanding level of support is provided to residents, staff and co-workers living and working in their house. 

We are seeking a team leader with previous experience in social care, working with people with learning disabilities or complex needs, with a minimum Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.

You will work as a member of the day to day hands-on Care & Support Team in close liaison with our Care & Support managers to provide high quality care and support to residents.
As team leader, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of care and support plans which are designed to provide meaningful choice and support to those in need of care and support, so they can access services to help them lead the life they want. You’ll be an excellent communicator, be able to demonstrate an ability to use IT including Outlook, Word and Excel, and you’ll ideally have experience in supervising and managing staff. A clean driving license is highly desirable.

It is important that you can demonstrate a flexible approach to work as you will be required to cover a weekly rota, which includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, sleep-ins and on-call duties on an agreed rota basis.
