They are currently recruiting for an IT Manager to join their Head Office team in Swindon. The IT Manager will be responsible for the support, maintenance and implementation of the IT systems including a new ERP system across the group companies and we would welcome any candidates with experience in similar relevant roles.

Responsibilities of the IT Manager:

* Deliver a highly effective and secure business IT support service
* Liaise with the external IT provider to resolve all hardware, software and communications related issues
* Operate as the main point of contact on IT
* Provide input to ensure compliance to ISO27001
* Define and maintain KPI's against set targets
* Ensure training and flexibility is progressed through skills matrix
* Optimise, build and implement software systems to support all users to efficiently perform their roles
* IT budgeting, specification, procurement and life cycle management
* Provide training where required with supporting training materials and documentation for all IT related items required
* Reviewing best practice to ensure we have the right tools and security

Requirements for the role:


* Used to dealing with people/processes and getting buy-in
* Aligned to Fundamentals values
* Capability to communicate well to a good standard of written and verbal English

* Experienced in the use and implementation of ERP business systems, ideally to include customising, configuration and writing reports.
* Significant experience of using computer software to include MS Office applications, Sharepoint, Project, databases and ERP systems
* Good understanding of technology and future IT direction
* Project definition, planning and management
* Good attention to detail


* Managed the IT function within an SME
* Experience in editing and building databases, ideally with programming experience.

* Good knowledge of Business Management Systems
* Experience of managing a small team
* Ability to spec and build PC's
* Be proactive, driven, flexible, organised with a can-do nature.
* Have good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Proven organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
* Customer focused
* Experience of achieving results with people and teambuilding - must be able to demonstrate a hands-on approach
* Ability to manage a variety of competing priorities and meet deadlines, and to adapt to changing and challenging circumstances
* Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem resolution
