About The Position;

* Home based covering the South East in Oxford, Surrey, Sussex, Reading areas.
* Cultivating and securing new business within the new build residential sector.
* Responsible for prospecting and converting clients into long term repeat customers and maintaining existing client pipelines.
* Work with the estimating team to prepare multi utility proposals for a range of new build projects in line with client requirements.
* Identify specific client needs and communicate internally ensuring the delivery of compelling timely proposals.
* Delivering sales targets within region and margin.
* Provide a high, maintained level of customer service at all times to both internal and external clients.
* Liaison with Clients, Technical and Operational teams, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Maintain client and pipeline databases/electronic files.
* Contributing to the strategic business planning process and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for;

* Proven background in a sales and business development environment that is solution focussed and target driven
* Ideally within utilities/construction or a technically biased sector but we are happy to train on our service
* Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with evidence of building long term compelling relationships and ongoing nurturing of key clients.
* Proven experience of identifying and developing strong and successfully converting to clients.
* Must be target and deadline driven with proven experience of delivery within given time frames.
* Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Proactive and self motivated approach, with empathy to clients' situations and a strong understanding of customer service and its impact on business performance.
* Demonstrable experience of continuous improvement within new and existing processes.
* Experience of using MS Office suite and in-house databases.
* Strong diary management skills with a proactive self driven approach.
* Ability to learn new technical products with a passion for ongoing learning and development
