Established in 2010, our client has built an enviable reputation within the Water technology industry.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join a highly driven management team, specialising in total water solutions. Based in the West wales area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a person with a chemical / waste water specialist background to join at the very start of a global expansion.
The position requires an individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise work under pressure and demonstrate initiative.
The role requires the candidate to carry out project management of the installation and commission of small to medium scale projects in the waste water treatment sector, including a basic understanding of the chemical processes and products required. You will provide all the required support to assist with delivery activities. The role requires the individual to work with other members of the Design Team, Commercial Team and Delivery Team, to deliver a design solution that meets the client’s requirements including consent levels, reliability, cost and service plans.
Please note this position will entail varying degrees of travel so you must be flexible to stay away from home and must be in possession of a full passport & driving license.
Knowledge and Experience
�Degree qualified (or equivalent)
�You will be a highly skilled project manager and will need detailed knowledge of project management techniques.
�Clean and waste water treatment experience would also be and advantage but not essential.
�Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages as a project manager.
�Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects
�Possess sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedures.
�Able to integrate well into a team as well as work independently
�Experienced level of decision making and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
�Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team both written and oral
�Excellent organisational skills and able to multi-task
�Must be able to plan and prioritise work load effectively
�Excellent client service focus flexible approach to work
