Main responsibilities
Assist the General Manager with day-to-day administration activities
Translation (both written and spoken) from English to Mandarin Chinese and vice versa
Liaise with senior management personnel at our Joint Venture and other international companies
Assist with writing professional proposal documents in English
Oversight of ALE’s key information systems - Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ALE’s enterprise resource planning system
Act as local ‘brand ambassador’, liaising with global marketing and PR team to help maintain ALE brand awareness and compliance within Taiwan
Taking minutes of meetings, filing and general office organisation
Screen phone calls and take messages in a professional and efficient manner
Coordinating and booking travel for clients and ALE employees as required - making sure that their accommodation, transport and other needs are met.
Raise purchase orders for the goods and services that you are responsible for purchasing directly, ensuring that costs are monitored and controlled in all cases

2 years in office administration or similar roles
Previous experience working abroad and/or with a diverse range of international companies, EPCs etc

5 years’ experience in a similar role
Previous work in the heavy lifting and transport, construction, petrochemical or related industry
