Mountjoy is an expanding construction and maintenance company focused on delivering exceptional service to its clients and customers across the south of England.

Mountjoy Ltd has an opportunity to provide Fabric Maintenance and void repairs to residential buildings across the Fareham area. This is mostly void property work, with Kitchens, Bathrooms and Wet-rooms being the principal work stream.

We are seeking a conscientious, enthusiastic and experienced Foreman with a can-do attitude and flexible approach. Applicants must have qualifications and/or relevant experience in the following trades: -

- Carpenter - Painter - Decorator - Roofer - Bricklayer - Plumber - Glazier

Your new role

Joining our team as a Foreman, you will manage and support the maintenance team effectively. You will ensure successful delivery of the refurbishment works and that all tasks are being carried out to the highest possible standards.

With a broad experience and knowledge outside your core competency, the Foreman must maintain a professional appearance, the right attitude and be polite and courteous at all times. You will need to maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure that we conclude our work, in order to maximise and enhance our reputation with our client.

It is a further requirement that all persons working on this contract will be DBS checked

What you will need to succeed in the role of Foreman:

- Managing/delivering of maintenance, repairs and elements of project larger works
- Extensive trade experience, ideally gained within a residential repairs market
- IT knowledge and competency with various systems & programmes.
- Extensive experience of working in a Building Maintenance environment.
- Proven experience of working in Social Housing environment working with tenants.
- Experience of kitchens, bathrooms and wet room process and procedures
- NVQ or equivalent experience in a trade as listed within the Role, and further qualifications/ experience of at least 2 other disciplines
- Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in a trade skill.
- SSSTS Health and Safety (Desirable).
- PASMA & Scaffold inspectors trained (must be willing to complete the training if not qualified)
- IOSH Working Safely.
- Construction Skills Certificate Scheme accreditation or equivalent
- Asbestos awareness and unlicensed removal (must be willing to complete the training if not qualified)
- First Aid trained - 3 day (must be willing to complete the training if not qualified)
- Have a full driving licence

What you will get in return

Joining our team as our Foreman, you will receive an annual salary of £31,000 - £32,000.
