Infrastructure Specialist with storage experience required for long running contract in Valencia, Spain. This is an English-speaking role in a multinational environment and single stage interviews will be taking place in March. 

As the client’s Infrastructure Analyst and Specialist you will focus on Storage subsystems and Server Bare-metal provisioning. Therefore you will have hands-on experience in storage solutions like HPE, Compellent, Oracle, etc, and on server technologies such as HPE c7000 and standalone servers.
 
Your primary details will be:

- Maintenance, support and performance evaluation of Storage Systems and related service.
- Storage and fabric management of Storage on Demand, plus support for users.
- Replacement of onsite failed Storage and SAN components and service restoration.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and configuration of HP blades, IO modules and enclosures.
- Capacity and performance management for HP blades, IO modules and enclosures.
- Assist international staff on infrastructure-related tasks.
- Prepare infrastructure documentation as needed.
- Provide telephone “stand-by” Infrastructure support when required.

You will have:

- Proven background working with Storage arrays from different vendors (i.e. HP (3PAR and EVA), DELL (Compellent), etc).
- Ability to manage, configure and troubleshoot Cisco MDS Fabrics.
- Sound technical knowledge of storage technologies (fabric switches, VSANs, WWPNs, NPIV, multi-pathing, Fiber channel, SCSI,etc) and replication.
- Experience with UNIX and MS-Windows operating systems.
- Good knowledge of HP’s Enclosures, blades and IO modules (Network/storage).
- Experience with HP SIM, HP One view, etc.
- Good understanding and knowledge of networking technologies (Ethernet, Routing, ARP, TCP/IP, LACP, etc).
- Hands-on experience administering storage arrays (LUN allocation, NFS exports, etc).
