Supported Housing Officer
North Somerset
19,500 pro rata + benefits

Elim Housing is an Aspirational, Flexible and Diverse organisation. We provide services to around 800 individuals and families and we are actively building new homes and developing new initiatives. Providing Supported Housing for over 30 years and Floating Support since 2003, we are currently looking for a Supported Housing Officer to join our team on part-time basis.

The Supported Housing Officer Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work at Tudor House, a six bed supported accommodation service for 16-25 year olds in Nailsea, North Somerset. It is also a perfect opportunity to shape our new and exciting service for young people aged 18-24 in Weston Super Mare, again a six bed property. The successful candidate will provide a wide range of housing management and support services to our residents at Tudor House, along with delivering a low level of support to our residents in Weston Super Mare around Education, Employment and Training.

The role is 30 hours per week. We are flexible and open to discussion about how these hours would be worked. You will be required to lone work for part of the week.

Requirements for the Supported Housing Officer Role
The successful candidate will have a background working with vulnerable people in a housing or support related environment. Experience of working with young people in a Psychologically Informed way and delivering guidance and advice around Education, Employment and Training is desirable though not essential, as comprehensive training and induction will be provided. We are more interested in finding the right candidate who will embrace Elim's culture and our way of working and has a genuine passion for making a difference.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong communication, organisational and IT skills. The ideal candidate will be someone with a positive, 'can do' attitude who sees the strengths and needs of our clients as central to everything we do.

You will need a full driving license and access to your own car in order to carry out your duties.

Closing date: 10:00am on Tuesday 12th March 2019

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 19th March 2019
