Trainee 1 st Line Helpdesk Support Engineer

Salary: Circa �18k + shift allowance + bonus

Our client looking for someone who wants to take their first steps into IT to join their growing team as a Trainee 1st Line Helpdesk Support Engineer at their Poole office. What will your job entail?

The Trainee 1 st Line Helpdesk Support Engineer will be responsible for dealing with incoming incidents in a professional, courteous manner over the phone and via email. To be successful in this role you will need a passion for excellent customer service.

You will be expected to manage incidents through their entire life cycle from the first point of contact through to resolution which may include their prompt escalation to 2 nd /3 rd level resolution teams or Third-Party Suppliers as necessary.

You will also need to:

* Take ownership of incidents and manage them in a logical and methodological manner;
* Accurately log incidents while categorising and prioritising them in line with service operation procedures; and
* Diagnose and resolve problems to the customers satisfaction.

What will you need to be successful?

* Be able to deliver consistent, excellent customer service
* A general knowledge of PC/Mac systems
* A natural aptitude for learning and personal development
* Ability to prioritise your workload efficiently
