QEGS has a long and distinguished history educating bright students from a wide catchment centred on the cathedral city of Wakefi eld. Ours is a happy, vibrant school offering high-quality facilities and a learning environment which is energetic,challenging and fun.From September 2019, we are offering a GCSE in Computer Science for the fi rst time. We are therefore looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to deliver this new course. There is a signifi cant amount of fl exibility about the post.We can happily accommodate someone looking for a c0.4FTE part-time contract focusing predominantly on GCSE Computer Science (which may well grow in September 2020). Alternatively, we would be interested to hear from colleagues who can also offer mathematics or perhaps physics to make this up to a full-time post.Applications are equally welcome from a recently qualifi ed teacher (for whom statutory induction would be provided) or from a more experienced applicant. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work with talented pupils and dedicated staff. A willingness to contribute to the wider life of this busy day school would also be an advantage.Salary is MPS/UPS plus the Wakefi eld Allowance. The Teachers’ Pension Scheme is also applicable.
