Teaching Personnel has an Ideal role for you!

Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a secondary school in the Blackburn area to recruit a Science Teacher to start in September 2019 for a possible permanent position. The successful candidate will complete an initial temporary probationary period. Upon the successful completion, the school will place the Teacher onto a permanent contract. The school is preferably seeking a Science Teacher who is able to deliver Chemistry up to GCSE, however, applications from all specialisms is encouraged

The school has been graded “Good” in all areas by Ofsted in a recent inspection. The school has exceptionally high standards for both pupil behaviour in school and attitudes to learning. For a candidate to be considered they should be able to uphold these high standards in their own teaching.

The school follows AQA science across both GCSE and A-Level, so experience working with this exam board would be preferable, however, not essential.As a nationally recognised Teaching School there is a wide variety of training opportunities. The school are seeking a member of staff who is committed to their own development. An extensive induction programme is available for NQT’s considering this role.
