Are you looking to work on a one to one basis with young students who have been excluded from mainstream Primary and Secondary school?
Could you guide a young person to having a brighter future?

As a Youth Support worker you would implement all of the above in a challenging yet nurturing and rewarding education environment. Working in a pupil referral unit in the Kingswood area with pupils ages 11-16 on a one to one basis or in small groups, you will give guidance to pupils who find mainstream education too challenging.

This role requires someone who can provide a consistent high quality of support and mentoring, as well as motivating and encouraging pupils to learn in an environment that suits there needs. In addition the role requires someone that can help to develop pupils to progress academically, socially and emotionally.

A Full time – long term role!
Market rate pay starting at �57 per day!
An Immediate start date!
Based in Kingswood- Bristol!

This successful candidate will need:

* A Child workforce DBS, on the update service - we can support you through the process of applying for one if you do not already have one.
* Confidence in working with challenging behaviour
* A calm, kind and caring manor about you
* A clean UK driving License with a access to a vehicle 5 days a week
* Taking a personal interest in the learning of the pupil you’ll be mentoring
