Liaison Officer

Location: London Heathrow TW19 7LN

Salary: up to �27,162 per anum, plus suppliments

Hours of Work: 42 hours per week. Variable shift patterns within a 24-hour operation

A vacancy has arisen for a Liaison Officer, based within our cargo facility B521a at LHR

Liaison Officer Responsibilities:

* Provide a constant Liaison between the Airline, (Including the Airline's GSA & GHA where applicable)
* Ensure that there is a constant & clear communication plus an efficient working relationship between Dnata's Operations Office, Warehouse, Management Team, RAMP teams and Transport Division
* Perform Freighter Liaison role with key dnata departments when in operation
* Service co-ordination and supervision (subject to carrier requirements)
* Maintain constant and proper contact with warehouse staff and oversee, build progress, timely breakdown of import flights in accordance with Service Level Agreement, (SLA)
* Prepare Flight Build plans and Import Breakdown Manifests
* Prepare, maintain and provide statistical reports, (Per Flight) to the dnata Cargo Duty Manager and Cargo Business Manager upon request
* Adhere to all relevant forms and procedures in accordance with the Airline Brief and Airline GOM
* Maintain Customer Service Levels to a High Standard
* Monitor shipment (mail) connections through airline hubs and report accordingly
* Oversee ULD control and stock, and monitor "Commercially Sensitive" freight deliveries / collections
* Ensure compliance of Regulatory bodies e.g. HSE, CAA, HMRC/Border force and IATA etc.
* Support the Cargo Duty Manager in all areas of the Business
* To undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post
* Promote at all times the Vision, Mission, Values of dnata

Liaison Officer Requirements:

* The applicants should have experience of working in a fast-moving challenging cargo environment, with experience of providing the highest level of customer service, whilst working under pressure to meet operational deadlines
* The applicants should have a working knowledge of company procedures and be able to maintain a safe and secure working environment
* Airside Driving License (essential)

* Freighter Experience
* Dangerous Goods trained
* Customer focused

* Good team player but capable of individual action
* Excellent Time Management and Planning ability
* High Communicational/ Interpersonal skills
* Decision making and Problem Solving
* Excellent Computer Skills and knowledge of Airline / in house systems
