Main responsibilitiesAs our Supply Chain Manager, you will be manage all inbound and outbound distributions and routes to market, driving continuous improvement to service levels and managing supply base transitions. Your key responsibilities will include:

Responsible for day to day distributor management ensuring the business relationship is maximised through close working relationships and proactively managing any supply issues
Management responsibility for 3 Supply Planners
Identify and implement initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost base primarily through consolidation of supply routes, managing delivery frequencies, managing order volumes and managing Delivery Windows
Collaborate with Category Development, Strategic Sourcing and Business Support teams on an ongoing basis to maximise the impact of our function on the business
Develop and embed core supply chain processes across the business to drive continuous improvement (on boarding suppliers, product forecasts and service)

Ideal candidateTo be right for us, you will have previous management experience with a strong operational background, ideally in food though this is not essential. You will have skills, experience and knowledge in the following areas:

Monitors all department projects and provides guidance and leadership proactively to ensure collaboration to achieve desired results with each project
Able to adapt quickly to change
Create and manage multiple project plans and is able to prioritise multiple demands effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with numerous internal and external stakeholders
PC literate and confident user of Excel, ideally you will also have experience using Cognos or SAP
