A challenging and stimulating opportunity exists for an experienced Cost Schedule Integrator / Project Controller to join our team in a fast paced and dynamic environment, providing project control support to various accounts covering the procurement of new plant and equipment to meet full rate production requirements and the on-going sustainment of the plant and equipment over the life of the programme. The role also involves the project management responsibilities required to manage internally funded projects in the new ERP system, Infor LN.

The role will provide key project control support to the Engineering team who deliver multiple plant and equipment projects across multiple programmes and customers. Reporting to the Delivery Manager / Control Account Manager (CAM) who has management responsibility for one or more control accounts on the programme, ensuring their defined scope of work is achieved to the cost, schedule and quality standards required by the project in line with the mandated project control system and EVM processes.

* Provide project control support with day-to-day co-ordination & integration of activities
* Establish & maintain the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) & support the Project Control Lead (PCL) and CAM in reporting performance against baseline and manage change through the BCR process
* Gather information on performance (cost, resources & outputs) and identify trends, inaccuracies & variances
* Provide effective project and internal reporting i.e. Cost Performance Reports and ad-hoc requirements, and prepare written & verbal reports to PCL regarding cost & schedule variances and corrective actions
* Ensure CCNs are created in alignment with the WBS and opened & closed in a timely manner
* Ensure data related to budget approval and release of funding is aligned to approved estimates
* Update schedule & performance progress in line with EVM system and analyse EV data
* Develop and maintain EACs, meet deadlines for submissions and provide on-going status
* Support appropriate meetings and capture & manage updates to live documentation i.e. Risk Register, Change Logs, and all other toolsets so that documentation is accurate and up to date
* Provide support in tracking actions, document control, and coordination between delivery teams to help ensure cost, quality and time are optimised
* Support to project reporting and Management Reviews
* Support the Integrated Business Planning process

Qualifications/Experience:

* Good knowledge and understanding of Earned Value Management, and generic project management processes and procedures
* Good knowledge and experience of working with project control systems
* Knowledge of IT business systems (ERP systems (e.g. BAAN, Infor LN or SAP) desirable but not essential)
* Good stakeholder management skills
* APM accreditation or equivalent PM Qualification is desirable
