Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Maths teacher on behalf of a secondary school located in Bury from May 2019.

Due to a planned absence, this Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school have the opportunity for any Maths teacher looking to secure a temporary role on a 12 month basis. This Maths post is to start following the May half term break for the remainder of this year and for the majority of the 2019/2020 academic year.

* Full time Maths teacher – May 2019 start
* Leading a Maths timetable consisting of predominately KS3 for the remainder of this academic year, and a KS3/GCSE timetable from September 2019
* Ofsted graded Good secondary school located in the centre of Bury
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (�23,720 - �39,406)

With a member of the Maths department taking planned leave for up to 12 months from May 2019, this well established 11-16 mixed comprehensive school wish to appoint a competent Maths teacher from May 2019.

Any Maths teachers looking for a 12 month temporary contract will have the opportunity to join a team who consistently achieve excellent results and hold a shared vision to ensure all pupils receive the highest standards of education/are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The incoming Maths teacher will receive full support from a close knit department and a popular head of department who provides clear direction to achieve this shared goal.

Maths teacher applicant requirements;

* Hold UK QTS and experience teaching both KS3 and GCSE Maths (to all abilities)
* Can evidence achieving excellent results within previous posts
* Able to start from May 2019 following the half term break (earlier start date available)
* Be able to commit to this position for the full duration of this temporary contract

Located on the border of Bury and Heywood, this school is a short drive from the M66 making it easily accessible via North Manchester, Rochdale, Bolton and Salford. The school serves a catchment area of significant diversity, the split of pupils is close to half and half of white British and also Asian heritage.
