Working hours: Permanent, full-time.

We are very excited to be working on behalf of a new indoor climbing concept, combined with soft play and a high-quality cafe in Watford. Our client describes the concept as 'theme park meets climbing wall' and has proved hugely popular at it’s existing 6 centres with guests and families.

Our client has established itself as the operator of choice for retail and leisure park landlords and has many potential sites across the UK planned for the future – so come and join them on their journey!

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding candidate who is looking to take their strong experience to new heights as a Duty Manager.

Key duties as Duty Manager to include:

- Reporting to the Centre Manager. 
- Responsibility for a team of circa 45 people, comprising of both permanent and casual workers. 
- Designing, promoting and instigating activities to maximise revenue. 

- Marketing and promoting the Centre to increase footfall and spend. 
- The maintenance of outstanding levels of customer service and care, including responding to all negative feedback on all channels.  
- Responsibility for the recruitment, training and rota system for staff. 
- Responsibility for security / health and safety and maintenance on site. 
- P&L responsibility. 

- Daily, weekly, monthly reporting to the Company as required. 
- Attendance at Management/-Finance/Marketing/HR meetings when required.

This is a role that requires passion, dedication and creativity as well as the operational, financial and mentoring skills required to run a busy facility. Experience in working for a start up company would also hugely beneficial.
