We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our growing Finance team based at our head office in Farnborough, Hampshire. This is a full-time permanent role - Monday - Friday Hours 08.30am till 17.30pm.
Accounts Assistant - Essential Experience:
Minimum of 2 year`s experience working within a Finance/Office Admin role
Good understanding of double entry accounting.
Excellent IT skills including good use of Excel, Word and Outlook
You will be a natural team player who can interact easily with colleagues, with strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
High levels of accuracy with strong organisational skills
Accounts Assistant - Responsibilities:
Preparing invoices
Processing of invoices from various suppliers ensuring all invoice details are accurate and matched to purchase orders and have the correct cost codes for processing for payment.
Allocation of receipts
Assisting with the month end procedures
Reporting to the Finance Manager and carrying out ad hoc duties as required
Answering internal and external queries
Providing excellent customer service
Auditing and reviewing invoices
Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of invoices
Credit control & System administration
Accounts Assistant - Desirable Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
You will be a natural team player who can interact easily with colleagues, with strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
High levels of accuracy with strong organisational skills
Deadline oriented and able to prioritise in a fast paced environment
Good telephone manner
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Excellent attention to detail
