Our client based in Aylesbury has an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker Co-ordinator to join them. 

You will be required to assist a team of experienced neurological case managers to oversee the recruitment and retention of directly employed care staff for a highly complex client population with neurological and/or complex traumatic injury.

You will be an active member of the team and will link in with the case managers and HR department. Some key responsibilities of the role include; 

- The recruitment process of care staff including advertising, interviewing and appointment
- Induction of new staff
- Preparing client home files, care plans and risk assessments
- Following safer recruitment processes e.g References, DBS checks, etc
- Identifying and implementing care staff training requirements
- Providing ongoing maintenance of the overall HR documentation processes and procedures
- Providing ongoing supervisions and appraisals
- Developing effective relationships with clients and their families and/or their employer as well as the individual care staff
- Maintaining rapport, good communications and liaising with the case managers and line manager

You must have at least a minimum of 3 years experience in a care industry role and hold a nursing qualification. You must have a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle as you will be required to travel on a regular basis, however your travel costs will be reimbursed.

Other key experienced and skills required for the role;

- Knowledge and application of CQC standards for personal care
- Knowledge of relevant legislation that impacts your role.
- Demonstrating effective teamwork and communication skills.
- Working in a pro-active and organised manner.
- The ability to develop, monitor and adjust documentation and care plans in line with client needs.
- Being able to manage workload and multitask within time limits and conflicting priorities.
- To be efficient and demonstrate good attention to detail.
- You must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
