Would you like to teach students who are motivated and interested in your subject? We are looking for an enthusiastic part time teacher of History to cover for a Easter start to approximately the end of the academic year.

The secondary school is based in Weymouth and Humanities is a very successful, strong and supportive department. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will enjoy teaching their subject to a high level, including GCSE level.

The school is looking for someone who is able to work 3/4 days per week up until the end of the academic year (with the possibility of extending through to September.) The right candidate will be willing to assist in some planning and marking responsibilities.

The right candidate will either have experience of teaching at least GCSE History with a proven track record of success or you will be recently new to teaching and can demonstrate that you have the attributes of an exceptional teacher and can deliver to a high standard. You will not only possess outstanding subject knowledge but will be passionate about your subject as well as possessing an unswerving belief that every child you teach can achieve outcomes they never thought possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
