We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Guest Services Manager at Bermondsey Square Hotel.

The Guest Services Manager Role

* Actively involved in the daily management of Front of House operations. Ensuring departmental procedures are followed at all times in restaurant and reception.
* Identifying distinguished guests, preparing for their stay and meeting them on arrival
* To ensure guest complaints and comments are handled and monitored until full guest satisfaction is achieved and reporting them to the Hotel Executive Management Team
* Supporting the Rooms Management in training and development of the team
* Liaising with all departments to communicate guest requests and preferences
* To conduct emergency procedures including fire prevention and alarm reaction when required
* To support the Reception during busy check-in and check-out times, ensuring personalised service and professionalism is delivered to all our guests.
* To be involved with the restaurant operations whilst on shift.
* To monitor cash control and float balances and the correct billing of revenues and credit facilities of all guests in-house
* Showing presence in the lobby to actively encourage feedback from our guests
* Reviewpro- checking guest service scores and addressing and communicating to all departments.
* Maintenance issues follow up and resolve
* Making sure amenities are placed in the room.
* Conducting morning meetings
* Checking compliance requirements
* Monitor the reservations email during reservations out of office hours and ensuring the emails are replied and bookings are in system.
* To maximise the room inventory to get the last minute bookings on the day.
* To check and make sure that all staff are groomed as per the hotel grooming standards and address issues with the HOD, Deputy General Manager and General Manager.

Requirements for the Guest Services Manager Role

* Year Min. Experience in Hotel Reception
* Customer Services Experience
* Good Verbal and Written English
* Ability to work under pressure
* Flexible to work hours
* Assist in covering Duty manager shifts.
