HR Administrator (this role is a 1 year fixed term contract) To provide HR Administrator support to the Employee Relations team and wider HR team as required. To act as first point of contact and to provide support to the HR Business Partners and HR team to deliver key HR priorities. Main responsibilities : First point of contact for HR with business areas and individuals, providing accurate advice and guidance on all aspects of HR, escalating where appropriate Keep abreast of changes in policies and procedures to ensure that information and guidance is relevant and accurate Suggest improvements to processes in line with customer needs, assist in developing guidance notes, standard forms and model letters for us in routine case management Raise requisitions for expenditure as required Allocate and record expenditure against correct budget and expenditure codes HR Administrator for all HR processes in accordance with process maps and HR procedures HR Administrator requests for reasonable adjustments escalating where necessary. Provide correspondence, record keeping and processing of documentation services Collect, monitor and where required provide statistical information in support of senior management HR Administrator of the Job Evaluation process and accurate maintenance of records. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR Policies and processes to ensure they are streamlined and support delivery of business objectives. Take notes at formal meetings and write up minutes as and when requested by the HR Advisors. KNOWLEDGE AND KEY SKILLS Essential skills: Excellent general administration skills within a customer facing environment Able to communicate effectively by telephone and in writing Able to work flexibly with a number of different processes Able to quickly assimilate detailed policy and processes and summarise for third parties Calm, organized approach when dealing with several simultaneous priorities Resilient and able to communicate challenging outcomes Good IT skills. In particular aptitude to use spreadsheets applications for manipulating data, Word and PowerPoint skills. Desirable: Experience of working with third party suppliers Experience of working in HR in an administrative capacity Experience of Project Management Support Understanding of Diversity and Inclusion and Data Protection principles Experience taking minutes in formal meetings Benefits: £1750 location allowance location 20 minutes from Milton Keynes central Flexible working hours Other further benefits
