Located in a beautiful setting, this 2AA Rosette hotel would like to appoint a talented Commis Chef to join their brigade.

This Hertfordshire Hotel offers a luxurious accomodation in a magnificent setting, perfect for wedding celebrations, holidays or just to get away from thestress of the city. Guests will receive the best service possible and outstanding facilities such as the award-winning restaurant, spa and other activities.

The 80 cover fine dining restaurant which boasts 2AA Rosettes, serves a modern English menu with a French twist. The Head Chef ensures that he only uses the best seasonal and local ingredients to create dishes.

Working as a Commis Chef you will assist Senior Chefs in the day to day running of the kitchen. The candidate will do basic cooking, working as a team, carry out stock checks, maintain the higuest standards of hygiene possible and learn new cooking techniques.

The potential candidates must have NVQ level 1 and a full understanding of food safety and hygiene. Previous experience in a quality establishment at Commis Chef level for a minimum of 2 years in a similar establishment 1/2 AA Rosette preferably. You must have excellent communications skills, be eager to learn and progress, demonstrating initiative and passion for your career.
