The Service Desk Engineer Role:

The Service Desk Engineer provides a pivotal role within the team, responsible for 1st line technical support of Onecom telephony products and service to both internal and external customers, to include but not limited to: on premise and hosted IP telephony solutions, call recording, call reporting and contact centre applications.

The Service Desk Engineer will remotely diagnose and resolve technical issues and complete moves, adds and change requests raised by the customer. Tasks must be prioritised to ensure Onecom adheres to contracted service levels.

The ideal Service Desk Engineer:

- Technical accreditation required for:- Mitel MiVoice Business
- Mitel MiVoice Office 250

- Ability to achieve and maintain Mitel Engineering Accreditation Scheme at Associate level in the following technology areas:- Voice Communications
- UC and Collaboration
- Contact Centre
- Cloud

- Working knowledge of networking technologies is desired
- Experience in working with ISDN, SIP and diagnostic tools is essential
- Strong IT skills essential
- VMware and Hyper-V knowledge desirable
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are required
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer focused and passionate about service
