Angular Full-Stack Developer (Angular Full Stack CI CD DevOps Tools Developer Software Engineer Programmer GUI UI User Interface Frontend Front-End Release Management Development Pipeline Angular OpenShift Terraform Ansible Kubernetes EC2 S3 RDS SQS SNS Lambda Glue AWS Finance Java J2EE) required by our asset management client in London. You MUST have the following: Advanced experience as an Angular Full-Stack Developer/Programmer/Software Engineer in a modern, up to date, Agile environment Broad experience and exposure to automation tools and open-source products as a developer/programmer/software engineer (such as GitLab, Jenkins, BitBucket, Docker, Artifactory, Travis etc) A current, active participation in the community, to make your own contributions and to stay abreast of the most current technologies and methods Ability to de-bug Java code (this is only editing existing scripts, not writing fresh code or applications) The following is DESIRABLE, not essential: Angular version 8 Knowledge/appreciation of the build and deployment tools in the market or due for release across, for example, Artifactory, OKD, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes etc AWS- EC2 S3 Elastic BeanStalk RedShift SQS SNS Lambda Glue Amazon Web Services Experience building in-house release management tools Role: Angular Full Stack Developer (Angular Continuous Integration Deployment CI CD DevOps Tools Developer Software Engineer Programmer GUI UI User Interface Frontend Front-End Release Management Development Pipeline Angular EC2 S3 RDS SQS SNS Lambda Glue AWS Finance Angular) required by our asset management client in London. You will join a team of eight engineers that are responsible for delivering an in-house, centralised development pipeline automation tool. The product, which is halfway through completion, will provide developers from across the organisation access to a single interface from which, ideally and ultimately, they will be able to 'press one button' and deploy an application in AWS and into production. The strategy is that the underlying tools for each component of the process, whether GitLab, Artifactory, Terraform or Ansible, will still, nonetheless, be accessible to the users so that they can amend, configure, evaluate or select the tools they want. So far, the centralisation piece has largely been completed but the UI needs improving considerably. Automated deployment into AWS has already been setup but the desired 'drag and drop' UI solution still needs to be created. The first objective, for the person entering this role, however, will be to deliver a greenfield component which is the creation of the front end of a release management tool. This is expected to last approximately 6 months. The improvement or redesign of other tools or the centralisation piece will come later. The person who fills this role will have extensive knowledge of DevOps and the tools available on the market. They will have delivered similar solutions and be able to contribute towards standards and best practices in release/DevOps automation. They will be able to draw on their own experience, knowledge of movements in the community and their own reading to develop an exemplary user-friendly solution. The front-end Angular development aspect of this role is the most important. They are running with version 8 but you do not need experience of this. Java-wise, you need to be able to de-bug and edit the code. Nothing more. There are backend developers in the team. There are no business analysts in the team so it is important that this person has cultivated an advanced ability to explore and evaluate the needs of a user base. They will also be experienced in promoting and explaining their solutions. 2-3 days/week working from home will be considered if required. Salary: £65k - £80k + 10% Bonus + 10% Pension
