Embedded Software engineer role offering work on industry leading, bespoke products with a company who truly look after their staff including a free lunch every day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for embedded engineers who enjoy being able to see their end product in action, want to work on the highest quality products and are inspired by true R&D work.

We are looking for a strong foundation in Embedded C and C++, experience with modern software tools and methodologies (GIT, JIRA & Agile) and ideally experience on Embedded RTOS or Linux development.

You will need to understand the principles of hardware, be motivated to work as part of a cohesive team and Interested in learning new techniques and technologies. Any experience of DSP/Audio Algorithms or AV interface experience would be desirable

Required skills:

* Strong C/C++ embedded programming skills, preferably on ARM based processors.
* Familiarity with modern software development tools and techniques (Git, Jira, Agile)

Beneficial additional skills:

* Experience with operating systems such as Linux and FreeRTOS.
* DSP and audio algorithm knowledge.
* Continuous integration and delivery infrastructure such as Jenkins and Amazon Web Services.
* Experience of implementing on-product user interfaces.
* Knowledge of networking technologies and audio streaming principles.
* Knowledge of common audio-visual interfaces such as SPDIF and HDMI.
* Unit testing and Test Driven Development.
* Automated testing of embedded systems.
* Experience in the consumer electronics industry.
