Pennon Water Services (PWS) is a National water retailer for non-household customers. PWS incorporates Aquacare, a water hygiene specialist to offer our customers Value Added Services (VAS) making PWS stand out from competitors in the market.

Pennon Water Services is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated staff member to join our team. This role will be based from our Walsall Office, with the need to work remotely from home.

The Role

This post holder will be the National Account Manager for Pennon Water Services, acting as the first point of contact for Key National Account portfolios and as a deputy to the UK Customer Delivery Manager. You will focus on nurturing and developing existing customer relationships, together with generating new business.

Employing commercial retail skills, you will ensure that customers receive appropriate water management consultation and proposals ensuring best practice and profitable customer retention. You will make sure customer debt is monitored and managed to ensure positive cash flow for the business; using strong networking skills that develop and drive relationships.

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, identifying customer and stakeholder issues and aspirations in relation to water, waste water and added value services and to subsequently ensure that these are championed for service improvement from their wholesale service provider.

Using strong entrepreneurial and commercial sense, the National Account Manager will identify and drive opportunities for revenue generation to meet specified targets. Working with their Added Value Services colleagues, you will use customer focused skills and commitment to manage an excellent buying experience for our customers.

The Ideal National Account Manager:

You will have proven experience delivering business to business customer service, with experience of generating sales through service. The successful National Account Manager will have proven ability to make effective decisions and possess financial and commercial acumen.

The post holder will have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally across all levels of a business. You will be professional and credible with our customers to ensure they receive the best service possible.
