Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) at Figbury Lodge

Shaw healthcare is recruiting for Registered Nurses to join our new 80 bedded home with state of the art facilities, due to open in Summer 2019.  Figbury Lodge, located in Canford Heath, will be Poole's flagship care home providing a mixture of nursing, residential and dementia beds with an additional 20 transitional beds

Main responsibilitiesYou will report into the Registered Manager, playing an important part of the onsite clinical and management team. You will support the manager in leading and supervising a large staff team to deliver the highest standards of care. This role is central in maintaining and further developing our care principles, which centre on 'wellness, happiness, and kindness'. You will work with the local community, GP's and professionals to deliver care that truly enables residents to continue to lead as full a life as possible.

Ideal candidateAs a Registered Nurse you will have a minimum of 6 to 12 months nursing experience, and be passionate about delivering person centred care. You will have current NMC registration, up to date clinical practices, and evidence of continual professional development. You will provide excellent clinical support and supervision to your team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the service.

You will be given support and training to develop your clinical skills and management skills, including opportunities to gain qualifications at Masters level. We offer a quality work/life balance that is second to none, with full time or part time hours.
