We are currently seeking a CAD Design Engineer to join our Transformers engineering team in Loughborough.
Main responsibilities
Prepare transformer manufacturing instructions and drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
Liaise with Electrical & Mechanical Designers to complete the task.
Produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, 2D & 3D Autodesk inventor CAD system etc.
Liaise with staff in other departments to complete the desired task.
Maintain and update internal manufacturing databases.
Prepare Engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Ideal candidateQualifications or Functional Experience

A recognised qualification. These can include:
HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
Recognised apprenticeship would be of advantage.



Previous CAD (2D&3D) system experience is must, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
Significant and proven expertise in the Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
