Job IntroductionWe're looking for a Senior Software Developer with specialism in Jade programming to join our dynamic and forward thinking Business Change and Innovation team. You'll work as part of a vibrant team consisting of Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Architects and be responsible for helping drive the Society forward in the ever evolving technology arena. The Key competencies for the role are:StrategyProject and Change LeadershipTechnologyCommunication Main ResponsibilitiesYou'll lead, drive and implement significant software change for systems used both internally by our colleagues and externally by our customers, whilst collaborating closely with colleagues across our wider technical software delivery teams on other strategic transformation products. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:The design and delivery of Jade software solutionsLead the delivery of development work for all or part of a projectProvide out of hours support, taking accountability as key decision maker on critical overnight processingSupport departmental priorities and needs including Portfolio, Strategy and RoadmapShare knowledge and best practice with colleagues to promote continuous improvement Ideal CandidateA capable relationship builder and clear communicator Demonstrable experience of using Jade system
