Business Development Manager - Stourbridge, West Midlands

Salary: Basic £25,000pa - £30,000pa plus commission - OTE £60K - £80K

The Company

Our Client has just finished their fist five years in business and have estabkished themselves as one of the leading specialists in their field in the UK. They offer specialist services to companies and individuals who own commercial property to enable them to claim significant tax allowances available in that property that are frequently overlooked by conventional accountants due to the highly specialist nature of the work and the mix of professional skills needed. They currently enjoy a 100% success record for all claims submitted to HMRC which has delivered significant financial benefits to their clients.

Based in recently refurbished premises in Stourbridge with their own parking they operate throughout the UK. As an award winning business their objective is to continue to grow and now seek an addition member to their successful business development team.

The Role

The role of Business Development Manager (BDM) is very focused on finding new clients and working with them to deliver the result. Supported by a team of surveyors and Tax specialists the BDM are involved in face to face meetings with potential clients they have identified. . You would need proven direct selling experience and be used to a target driven environment. Experience in developing networks to potentially introduce business would be a very big plus. If you have previous experience in developing partnerships with Accountants, Solicitors, Estate Agents, Commercial Finance Brokers or any other contacts who are well connected in the business world you would find that helpful in building an introducer network. You should also be used to hitting the phone when necessary, cold calling if required and making direct contact with potential clients to open up an opportunity. Full training will be given and you will be supported by a very professional team.

Essential Requirements

Working in a direct selling role in previous positions is essential and a proven success in meeting targets should be demonstrable. If that has been achieve din a concept selling environment then that will also be a positive. You need to be numerate and comfortable explaining financial concepts at a very senior level.
