Are you looking for an exciting and Seasonal Contract, Casual, Interim / Temporary Line Chef opportunity working with amazing fresh food items in a waterside restaurant near Southampton? Hours to suit and competitive hourly rate.
This is an exclusive opportunity to work in a family friendly kitchen team with an award-winning Executive Chef.
The successful menu comprises a relaxed and informal blend of oriental and tropical dishes, with great seafood classics and tried and tested favourites.
Full Time or Part Time working hours are on offer to cover the opening hours of the venue, which cover breakfast, lunchtime and late dinning service 7 days a week.

Key Features of the Role:
As a Seasonal Contract, Casual, Interim / Temporary Line Chef, you can work full time or part time hours, as the venue is a very busy working environment.
Taking great pride in the quality of the local fresh food you serve and understand the diversity of the menu.
Attentive, passionate and friendly making sure the guest has a great experience, ensuring that the customer's expectations are met and exceeded every time they visit.
Assisting the brigade to produce the best quality results for every customer's culinary experience, emulating the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
You'll be part of a team who helps influence effective kitchen controls and to achieve good gross profit, efficient ordering and stock control as well as driving excellent standards of health and hygiene.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Prior experience as a Line Chef where food preparation and working in a fresh food kitchen was part of your everyday Chef duties.
Experience preparing and cooking various dishes and menu items will be considered.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
Passion for producing the perfect dish every time, having a desire to aim for high standards.
Emotionally robust and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy seasonal kitchen environment.
Excellent team player who can respectfully communicate to the team.
Own transport to get to interview and every day for work is a must, as public transport is not available early morning or late evening, or on a regular basis. However locally based Chefs will be considered.

What's on Offer?
The Line Chef opportunity has flexibility for someone to work more or less hours than the standard 45 to 50 hours per week, on a Seasonal Contract, Casual, Interim / Temporary basis.
Early start for breakfast shift is 8am and lunch time shift runs up to 4pm, with the restaurant closing service around 10pm depending on time of year.
Set hours and days can be geared around your availability, but they can include Saturday and or Sunday or both.
�8.21 to �10.00 per hour, plus tips (depending on experience).
Prospect of permanent employment if all goes well and then excellent career progression opportunities within the group's multiple venues across the South Coast, if you are looking to build your Chef career.
20 days' holidays plus bank and public holidays or if required to work a day off in lieu. Staff Discount Card, free uniforms, meals on duty.
