My client is looking to appoint an SEMH Specialist Teaching assistant to join them for the Summer term. The role will require you to work 1:1 with pupils presenting with Social, Emotional Behavioural Issues as well as Mental Health. The 'Good' Alternative Provision is located in Fulford is wildly supported by the local community and supports local activities and public events.

The role will require an enthusiastic individual with a good understanding of SEMH and the Autism Spectrum. You must maintain an understanding and have a compassionate approach to pupils and their needs and abilities. Experience in another similar role is essential, dealing with impulsive behaviours whilst being supportive. Qualifications within SEN would be an advantage.
