Qualified English Teacher Needed!

Do you have experience working with young adults or children with complex behaviour and/or learning difficulties?

We have an immediate long term to permanent role as an English Teacher in a lively school on the outskirts Oxford. The role will involve supporting pupils in Secondary school 1:1 and 2:1 with complex learning needs which may include Autism. Pupils in class may also display challenging behaviours; however, you will be working alongside a skilled and highly supportive team.

Small class groups (average size 7 pupils) with pupils grouped according to age and ability, where appropriate. Therapists on site to help you assist with pupils and support on a daily basis.

The successful candidate:

* Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
* NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
* Previous experience teaching English and rung English classes
* Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

* A child workforce DBS on the update service, or one completed through Teaching Personnel
* Providing the students with necessary feedback, encouragement and support.
* Good interpersonal skills and confidence - Punctual and reliable - Enjoys a challenge
