About the Company:

An opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development Trainer at Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG), a multisite business with ambitious growth plans for the future, with c300 employees.

SBG operates within the UK Financial Services industry, with its core business in the intermediary market, providing support to over 11,000 advisers across the country. The Group brings together a leading network, support service provider and mortgage club, making it the UK's largest distributor of retail financial advice.

Working as part of the HR & Development team, reporting into the Head of HR&D, you will have a passion for learning, nurturing others and the growth of individuals.

Learning and Development Trainer Responsibilities:

* Delivery of the bi-monthly staff Induction programme.
* Design and delivery of a range of competency enhancement classroom training sessions for all levels of staff, which deliver tangible outcomes for the business.
* Design and facilitation of Group learning events, including Management Development days and cross team collaboration days.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of Employee Engagement activities.
* Deliver and evaluate SBG development and talent programmes, for future leaders and high performers.
* Facilitate the coordination of all aspects of your training sessions including promotion of sessions, organisation and planning of required resources and management of pre/post coursework.
* Design, develop and distribute the fortnightly internal newsletter, including contribution towards content generation. Provision of support to staff in their selection of the appropriate qualification routes and complete a monthly reconciliation of forecasted spend and actual spend, in support of the effective management of the People Development budget.
* Identify and plan for personal and team development interventions recognised from the annual Group Learning Needs Analysis.

Learning and Development Trainer Requirements:

* 12 months previous experience in a similar role
* Training qualification (desirable)
* Experience of working in financial services (desirable)
* Strong and confident communicator
* Creative and able to put forward ideas
* Able to confidently influence and challenge
* Change catalyst and ability to cope with fast pace
* Delivery of management development
* Attention to detail
