Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Change Manager to work with our prestigious Defence client at their site in Milton Keynes.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that significant changes are introduced and fully managed throughout the ITIL lifecycle, delivered into operational service in a controlled manner with minimal impact on service delivery and in accordance with a published availability plan.

Main Duties:

* Enforcing the Operational Change Management processes and jointly ensuring that they are fit for purpose and complied with
* Provide Operational Change Management services to manage the technical changes that impact infrastructure and services.
* Ensuring that changes are successfully delivered in accordance with agreed SLAs and OLAs and are communicated appropriately with the business and that appropriate business agreement is obtained for changes
* Managing the effective and efficient review and approval of all operational changes by all appropriate parties and to protect the customer’s business environments
* Facilitate Change Approval Boards (CABs) and Emergency CABs (eCABs) covering all in-scope suppliers
* Maintain a Forward Schedule of Change report which will be refreshed in line with the business need.
* Co-ordinate the review and approval of changes and confirm that changes have been successfully completed, leading the review of failed/backed out changes to determine lessons learned/best practice to enable CSI.
* Provide data to ensure that asset and configuration records are accurately maintained as a result of change.
* To deliver customer facing and internal change management activities to ensure ongoing stakeholder and user engagement.

Successful Candidate:

* Ideally similar experience within a highly regulated industry
* ITIL lifecycle experience and Service operations experience
* Experience of IT change management processes involving multiple suppliers
* Clear understanding of business requirements for communications around change
* Ability to coordinate and direct suppliers in change management functions
* Experience of chairing teleconferences and meetings
* Proven ability to actively manage risk and make informed judgements
* Project management experience would be advantageous
* Familiarity with the design and development of aviation would also be advantageous.
