Job Title - Service and Commissioning Engineer (DAYS)

Hours of work: Days: Monday to Friday

Location - Grays

Salary package - �35,000+ overtime + Company Car + iPad + Phone

Pension: 6% contribution

Holiday: 25 days + Bank holiday

Overtime: Paid at 1.3, 1.5 and double time!

The Company

I have an exciting opportunity for a Service and Commissioning Engineer. My client requires you to be site based for two years getting involved with a massive install and commissioning project for a brand-new site! My Client is a billion-pound business which has presence worldwide. They specialise in the design, manufacturing, install, commission, service and provide breakdown support on bespoke CNC Machinery.

The Role

As a Service and Commissioning Engineer your role will consist of:

* Installing and commission the customer specific on site working on both electrical and Mechanical component
* Testing the equipment once set up making sure it meets the needs and requirements of the customers
* Working alongside the production team engineering any intital nag when the site goes live.
* Evolve in to a UK Field service engineer after two years maintaining, service and repairing breakdowns
* Electrically fault finding and swapping component like for like on components such as contactors, relays, sensors, three phase and e-stop
* Mechanical it could be things such as pneumatics, hydraulics, bearing, belts and pulley.
* When on the road you may need to stay away for the week from time to time.

The Candidate

To be successful in your Service and Commissioning Engineer application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:

* Must have an electrical or mechanical qualification.
* Ideally worked on CNC kit but not essential
* Fault finding ability to work on both electrical and mechanical equipment
* Will to stay away after the first 2 years of commission engineer
* Desire to become a Field Service engineer
