Based in Humberside

This is an exciting role on a Multinational site. The client that you will be working for will have full operational and maintenance responsibility for the site-wide utilities plants and distribution systems which include a CHP Energy Centre and a Trade Effluent Treatment Plant.

The on site team consists of approximately 20 personnel and we run a 24/7 continuous operation of services to supply all site production and facilities. Requirements

- You will be managing a portfolio of contracts in the South Yorkshire region, focusing on delivering utility management to clients, and in particular Energy Solutions.
- You will have experience in the management of teams ensuring services to clients including the management of Boilers, Gas Turbines, CHP’s as well as all associated equipment. Ideally, you also will have experience in the management of Trade Effluent Treatment Plants.
- You will understand the management of all operational, maintenance and overhaul of these assets including management of PPM to deliver compliance.
-  Your experience will include running 24/7 continuous operations to these critical services from a practical operational background.
- The role is varied with responsibilities for contracts with embedded teams as well as delivering a service using mobile teams.  You will be responsible for all aspects of the team’s performance including development plans and also coordinate any negotiations with the Unions.
- In a fast-paced environment working as part of a team, a key responsibility will be delivering the plant availability to meet client needs.
- You will ensure management of our contractual obligations which will include successful delivery all company KPIs, management of HSE and Quality Systems and policies, possess the ability to implement and lead change and manage the teams and lead by example.
- You will be responsible for the safety & environmental performance of the operations, deliver continuous improvement & plant efficiency ensuring the sites are compliant & audit ready.
- You will also be responsible for the teams delivering standard operating procedures, commercial performance and specified standards as determined by the contract requirements and company values.
- You will lead the relationship with all clients including the monthly meetings and produce relevant reports as required. You will manage the P&L for all sites within the portfolio.

Experience Required

- To carry out this role you will be required to have completed a recognised engineering qualification, with a multi-disciplined knowledge of electrical and mechanical applications and preferably be degree qualified, although candidates with appropriate HNC / vocational qualifications or equivalent will be considered.
- The successful candidate will possess a background of running public, industrial and utility plants and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You will have knowledge of current H&S issues, safe systems of work, and strong customer focus experience.
- You will possess motivational and leadership skills being both leader and member of the team, promoting an Excellent Safety Culture and have appropriate IT skills (confident use of Google and MS applications, SAP (CMMS) etc.)
- You will have the ability to build rapport with colleagues, suppliers and contractors and build strong customer strategic relationships, understanding their needs and objectives.
- You will have experience in managing budgets and making financial decisions with a strong background in delivering financial improvement in performance.
- You will also possess excellent organisation, planning and time management skills and be able to cope with numerous issues simultaneously and capable of prioritising tasks
- Ideally, you will have experience across a portfolio of clients including Hospitals, Manufacturing Sites and also potentially Bio Mass.
- You will have experience in developing strategic plans with clients and ideally in negotiating contracts with clients to build long term partnerships.
- The successful candidate will possess a background of running industrial and utility plants and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You will have knowledge of current H&S issues, safe systems of work, and strong customer focus experience.
