Full time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor required for a Bolton Secondary school starting immediately, fixed term, until the end of the academic year (2019).

The governors at are seeking to appoint an SEN specialist who is professional, energetic and up-to-date with current techniques in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs. If you have previous experience working with vulnerable young people within an Education capacity and wish to be considered for this exciting opportunity, then please see below for further information.

* Full time SEN Tutor position, required immediately until the end of the academic year.
* Must hold prior experience working with SEN alongside relevant qualifications/ training.
* Opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Academy with access to CPD training programmes.
* Earn up to �1300+ per month.

The school has just over 1200 pupils on roll aged 11-16 and with an influx of applications each year it is heavily over subscribed. Due to new government funding the school now wish to appoint a dynamic SEN Tutor to work with identified pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 at all levels of learning. As the incoming SEN Tutor your responsibilities will include;

* To identify and provide for pupils who have special educational needs and additional needs.
* To work within the statutory guidance provided in the SEND Code of Practice 2015.
* Support pupils on a 1:1 intervention basis as well as in smaller guided groups as directed by Senior Leadership and SENCO.
* Areas you may work within; Communication and Interaction Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional, Mental Health, Sensory and/or Physical Needs etc.

Farnworth can easily be accessible via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Wigan. There are also various public transport options available with links throughout Greater Manchester.
