Languages Teacher – Rochdale

Are you a qualified languages teacher looking to work in an ‘Outstanding’ school in Rochdale?

Due to an internal promotion at our partner school located in Rochdale, Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an inspirational Languages Teacher that can teach both French and Spanish. This exciting role is due to start in September 2019 on an initial one year placement and due to a strong working relationship with the school, there is a strong possibility of earning a permanent contract.

Our partner secondary school is located in the Milnrow area of Rochdale and has over 1200 students currently enrolled with the school currently being over subscribed. The school moved to a new building in 2011 and converted to academy status in 2013. Situated close to the M60/M62 motorway and boasting excellent public transport links, our partner school is easily accessible from a range of areas across North Manchester.

“At our school we provide opportunities for pupils to achieve their full potential in language learning using stories, film, authentic materials and games. We focus on the four skills for language learning – writing, reading, listening and speaking. We are looking for a teacher to join our successful department that can inspire and instil a love of languages into our students” Head of Department.

As a languages teacher at our partner school, the successful candidate will ideally be able to teach French up to KS4 and Spanish to at least KS3. Experience of teaching students from a range of different backgrounds as well as students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is also desirable. Prospective candidates should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK as well as other relevant qualifications.
