Art teacher needed for a Manchester based secondary school in September due to an upcoming vacancy within the department. This is an excellent opportunity for an Art teacher coming to the end of a post or a newly qualified teacher coming to the end of a teacher training programme and seeking a first teaching post.

The successful Art teacher will be responsible for full planning and marking throughout the post to ensure students are hitting planned progress 8 and attainment scores. This centrally based secondary school has exceptional public transport links from the city centre for those that don’t drive. You will be provided with opportunities to participate in regular CPD and training courses to upskill yourself.

Art teachers interested in this position will need to have experience teaching fine art across KS3 and KS4 so previous experience of this is essential. Art teachers interested in this post will need to have strong behaviour management as students can be challenging g at first.
